Back Bay Shutter Company is lucky to work with so many talented professionals in the trades. Everyone is committed to excellence and is diligent about making sure everything looks, fits, and operates correctly.
This video features a collaboration
with Back Bay Shutter Company and designer Blair Hamaty of Setting the Space. The project: installing Lutron shades at a private residence in the stylish Mandarin Oriental in Boston, MA.
For the client, it was imperative that the shades be room darkening, easy to use,
and work through a home automation system, as well as a keypad in each of the 3 rooms where we installed shades. Because the client didn't want the stunning view of Boston to be obstructed, they also required the shades look as if they disappeared into the windows when they were opened.
For Back Bay Shutter Company, working with Blair at Setting the Space for the
first time proved to be a great fit and experience. They found Blair to be extremely talented and to have an incredible energy. Steve and Bill felt he he did an amazing job with the design. And, according to Blair, having Back Bay’s expertise and careful attention to detail during the installation proved to be a win-win. Says Blair, “When we worked with Back Bay Shutter Company they made it very, very easy for us. It was a very intense type of installation, but they were very professional. They drilled where they had to drill, cut where they had to cut. Not only did they do it perfectly, but you could not see any flaws whatsoever.”
Having a flawless installation is important because that’s the last thing the customer sees. And, according to Blair Hamaty, “with Back Bay Shutter Company their installation is fabulous.”
